Notes and Links

Add context beside your Media without moving project details to another tool. A Note is a content item in a Gallery, so it can be ordered, moved, copied, searched, downloaded, and intentionally included in a Share.

Create a Note

  1. Open a Gallery.
  2. Choose Add → Note, or run Add Note from the Command Bar.
  3. Give the Note a clear title.
  4. Write in Markdown. Changes save while you work.

Use headings, lists, links, emphasis, and Markdown checkboxes such as - [ ] Send final selects. The Gallery tile shows the title and a short text preview.

Organize and share Notes

Treat Notes like other Media items:

  • Drag them into a custom order.
  • Use Copy to or Move to for another Gallery.
  • Duplicate a Note before adapting a reusable checklist.
  • Download a Note as a Markdown file.
  • Add it to a Share only when recipients should see it.

Choose Add → Link, paste the URL, and review the detected title and preview. Supported services can open as an embedded preview, while other URLs remain a link card. Use links for references such as a mood board, design file, video, playlist, or meeting recording.

The external service controls access. Recipients still need permission on that service even when the link is visible in a Framebird Share.

Note item or private Media note?

  • A Note item appears in a Gallery and can be included in a Share.
  • A private Media note is edited in the Media info panel and stays in your workspace.

Use a Note item for project context that belongs in the content flow. Use a private Media note for internal reminders that recipients should not see.

Delete and restore

Deleting a Note sends it to Trash. Restore it before its displayed retention period ends if you need it back.
