Workspaces & Team Access
Workspaces keep content, settings, storage, and public Shares together. Every account has a Personal Workspace. If Team Workspace access is available for your account, you can also create or join shared Workspaces.
Switch Workspaces
Open the account menu and choose a Workspace. The switcher appears only after you belong to more than one Workspace. Framebird reloads Workspace content and keeps Personal and Team data separate.
Finish active uploads, downloads, or Canvas edits before switching. Framebird blocks the switch while work is still in progress so files and changes stay in the Workspace where they started.
Create and manage a Team Workspace
Open Settings → Workspaces. If creation is available for your account, enter a name and an optional public slug. Select an existing Team Workspace on the same page to update its settings, members, and pending invitations.
Team branding and presets
Select the Team Workspace before opening Settings to manage its logos, themes, watermarks, review-status presets, and saved Share presets. Owners and Admins can change these shared settings. Members can use existing presets when editing Shares. Your Personal branding is not copied into a new Team Workspace. Your profile, language, appearance, and notification preferences stay with your account across Workspace switches.
Roles
- Owner: manages content, settings, members, ownership, and deletion.
- Admin: manages content and settings, invites members, and manages Member access.
- Member: reads and changes content and can leave the Workspace.
Only the Owner can transfer ownership or delete the Workspace. Framebird may ask the Owner to sign in again before either action.
Invitations and access
Owners and Admins can invite a person as an Admin or Member while capacity is available. Pending invitations reserve a place until accepted, canceled, or expired. An invitation must be accepted by the account with the invited email address.
Removing a member or leaving a Team Workspace ends access immediately. Framebird switches you back to Personal before you leave the Team Workspace you are currently using.
Public Shares
A Team Workspace can use its own public slug or custom domain. Public Share access stays bound to that exact Workspace, including Media, comments, review, uploads, downloads, and Canvas activity.
Older app versions that do not support Workspace switching remain Personal-only. Update your apps before working with Team content across devices.
