Sign-in and Security
Framebird supports password, Google, and passkey sign-in. Keep at least two verified ways to access your account before removing or changing one.
Choose a sign-in method
- Email and password: sign in with your verified email address and password.
- Google: connect Google in account settings, then choose Sign in with Google on the sign-in screen.
- Passkey: add a passkey for a supported device, password manager, or security key, then choose Sign in with passkey.
Connecting Google does not change the email on your Framebird account. A Google account must be linked from Settings before it can be used to sign in.
Add a passkey
Open account settings
Go to Settings → Account and find the connected sign-in methods.
Choose Add passkey
Follow the browser or operating system prompt. Give the passkey a recognizable label when prompted.
Test the passkey
Use a private window or another signed-out session to confirm that Sign in with passkey works before relying on it.
You can add more than one passkey. Remove an old passkey after replacing a device, but keep another verified sign-in method available. Framebird blocks removal when it would leave the account without a safe way to sign in.
Connect or disconnect Google
In Settings → Account, choose Connect Google and complete Google’s authorization prompt. To disconnect it, use Unlink Google. Confirm that your password or a passkey works before disconnecting your only convenient sign-in method.
Change your email or password
- Changing your email requires confirmation. The new address becomes the sign-in and notification address only after verification.
- Changing your password may require the current password and sends a security confirmation.
- If you forgot the password, choose Forgot password on the sign-in screen and use the reset link sent to your email.
Framebird support cannot replace access to your email inbox. Recover the email account with your email provider first if you cannot receive a reset or verification message.
Review active sessions
The Active devices section lists signed-in browsers and devices with their recent activity and approximate location when available.
- Sign out an unfamiliar session immediately.
- Use Terminate all other sessions after a lost device, shared-computer sign-in, or suspected account access.
- The current session stays active when you terminate other sessions.
Use more than one Framebird account
Choose Add Account to sign in to another account, then switch accounts from the account menu. Each account keeps its own workspace, plan, settings, and sessions. Check the active account before uploading, sharing, or changing billing.
Security checklist
- Keep your email address verified and recovery options current.
- Prefer a passkey where your device supports it.
- Do not share passwords or passkey prompts.
- Review active sessions after using a public or borrowed device.
- Open Framebird only from the official app and website, and verify unexpected sign-in emails before acting.
